Grow my salon business had a membership website that was already up and running through Kajabi, a out of the box membership website creation service with little customisation and room to scale.
Grow my Salon Business wanted to have their very own customisable membership website with all the bells and whistles. This meant developing a membership that worked with them and enabled infinite scaling when the business is ready.
One of the main things the business wanted to achieve was having salon owners be able to register their staff under their logins. This to us developers is referred to as parent and child logins.
The business owners wanted to be able to restrict content access and upload their live coaching calls once done.
How we helped
We produced a custom membership website that focuses on user-friendly design, ensuring that members can navigate through the site easily.
We segmented the content down into more distinct areas with a consistent look and feel for particular content types such as weekly calls and courses.
WooCommerce now powers membership sales, and the courses are handled by LearnDash LMS. The custom developed MemberLab Live Learnings plugin was added to their site, integrates with Zoom and allows for the site owners to see how many people have booked onto their call. Once the call is over site owners can embed their call from YouTube, Vimeo or with an embed code
This website has allowed for multiple membership options, allowing members to join on a subscription basis or to buy individual one off courses. But more importantly, its given Grow My Salon Business better visibility on their sales and marketing campaigns effectiveness. Salon owners can now register child users on their profile secition.
Learndash LMS is used to deliver all of the courses. We worked with the siteowners to create custom post types and advanced filtering to help break down the material into the relevant sections.
