Modern Social is a Membership website that helps beauty based businesses to modernize their social media platforms through direct sales. They teach these skills to their members and make sure to upload new content every month!
What was required
Modern Social previously had another membership site built with Kajabi and ClickFunnels but were not happy with it from a user experience. The content management system was over-complicated, messy and frustrating.
Modern Social wanted an online shop, to move their courses from Kajabi to Learndash, to provide affiliate marketing and different tiered levels of membership.
They also wanted their new site connected to a new user-friendly CRM. They chose ActiveCampaign, which would help to segment and communicate more effectively with members.
A big part of Modern Social relaunching their membership website was that they wanted to engage with their members more frequently and to generate more leads where possible.
This membership website is slightly different to most; as they release monthly content files for other influencers to repurpose and reuse. They wanted three different tiers of membership levels and a shop within their membership website should a user want to purchase a back-dated month.
How we helped
The companies branding is clear and instantly recognisable. We replicated that within their membership website and followed Modern Socials brand specs while making their membership website a new, fresh and interactive experience.
The MemberLab framework provides the core of Modern Socials membership website however we adapted this to suit their exact needs.
A vital part of the membership is access to the templates library, which is released every month containing the content to re-purpose. We custom developed this section so the team can easily add and manage this content with WordPress whilst the members can easily download and access the content on the front end.
Membership sales and content access are powered by Woocommerce and ActiveMeber360, which allows the creation of multiple memberships and billing in various currencies, making the membership website accessible to all.
Affiliate Marketing has helped bring membership numbers up by a third. Members can share a sign-up link and get money back for every person who signs up!
